The SMART HEALTH Project
SMART HEALTH Project is HAVENi Hub's flagship program — built because too many young people in Rwanda face sexual reproductive health and mental health challenges without a safe, accurate, and confidential place to turn.
The landscape
Rwanda has made real progress in health outcomes for young people — but gaps remain. Teenage pregnancy rates have climbed in recent years, and conversations about mental health are still often met with silence or stigma. Many young people don't know where accurate information ends and myth begins, or feel too embarrassed to ask a trusted adult.
The gap we fill
SMART HEALTH meets young people where they already are — online — with a website, an AI chatbot, and practical tools that make accurate SRH and mental health information, and real professional support, only a few taps away. Confidential, judgment-free, and built specifically for a youth audience.
